PSI sensors 07 sedan

Hey guys. . .well today I get the low tire PSI icon on my dash,

I let the tires cool off and measure tire pressure. . . the worst off was 3psi
at around 30psi

manual says 33psi

have any of you guys found the sensors to be that sensitive?

It's a good thing, but I just didnt think they were that sensitive

anyhow after getting all tires up to 33psi . .and drivng a mile

icon was no longer lit up. . .

10% off is not that sensitive. Isn't it nice to be reminded? Check your tire pressure at every second fill up, no less than once a month. Handling and MPGs are both affected by low tire pressure.

My icon lit up two days ago...tire pressure was perfect on all 4 tires. Still is lit up.
Dealer says a nail was probably in a tire; but no tire is losing pressure...brand spankin' new G35X, no tire rotation etc.

Any ideas?

Maybe a bad sensor in one of the tires.

I'm not sure if the G35 has them, but in my 4Runner this happened to me and it turned out to be the spare tire. I had to lower the tire from under the vehicle to air it up.

Bad sensor - had one go on my car too. I've heard you need to make sure the valve caps are tight (not really sure why...?)

A lot of members have had problems with the sensors, at least the older blue style. I'm not sure if the new sedans use the newer yellow ones or still have the blue ones.

I received my first low pressure warning light a week ago. Checked all the tires and they were all at 29 psi. Weather has been alot cooler lately. I brought the pressure back up to 33 psi and the idiot light went away. I thought you really had to be low for the light to come on - I prefer the reminder when I'm down a few pounds.

Have sinced verified that all 4 tires are holding a perfect 36 psi (as recommended by the dealer) and now have an appointment set to fix.

I got my 07 G35X in July and it has been back to the shop 4 different times for problems:

1. Sunroof liner
2. Rolling pebbles noise coming from under the car when cornering - turned out to be rocks in a protective pan (it was delivered to me that way). LOL - dealer asked me if I had taken the car offroad...I'm like: Uh, excuse me???
3. Seat warmers, key recall and wind noise coming from window seals
4. Now my tire pressure sensor is going...

Also, my AC is starting to smell musty when started....
