Hello Fellow G drivers

I seem to have a minor problem but I would like to report it for any advice before at turn ‎to be any serious... I hear a strange Tick!! Sound whenever I start to drive my car. In ‎details it actually comes from the rear side of the car - rear tires area- and it only occurs ‎when the car shift from the first to the second gear. The strange thing is that it happens ‎only when I drive the car after I turn it on… means only on first drive on...nothing ‎happens when I stop and drive again...but it happens again when I turn the car OFF and ‎ON and start driving. Any idea what this could be?‎

Another Issue, is that I the AC is noisy...I can hear the fan spinning sound inside the car ‎when I turn off the audio...is this a defect issue?‎

 

ABS testing every time when you star up your car and go 1-2 gear.

My A/c is loud too. It is because the fan speed is really high. If I turn it to the lower fan speed it is ok.

Well the AC is still noisy even when my AC is turn on the lowest...!!

 

That's not good. It shouldn't be noisy. Is it just the blowin noise or you hear something else too.

Do you mean the lowest tempurature (****) or fan speed (buttons)?

 

Yes, fan speed . Do you hear the fan noise or you can here some other noise. It would help if you can describe what type of noise.

the abs testing is normal totally. Some g you can hear louder. I don't know why but that is totally normal.

Yea the fan sound loud and I feel its gets louder with the sound of the engine when I step on it. For such a quite car I think its strange. Even when its on the lowest fan speed its still annoying and I dont know if thats normal or not...happens in my friend G as well, he got the same model.

 

Yea that is normal. I thing the air tunnel design is the problem. Nothing we can do about it. Turn on the music or just listen to the tune of 306 ponies.

I remembered to check the fan noise recently and mine is VERY quiet on the lowest (fan) setting almost silent actually, and it does not get any louder with increased engine speed. I tried this with windows up, no radio at idle and at speed. It gets progressively louder as I turn up the fan speed. I would not say that your condition is "normal."
