So...dealer gave me run around on timing advance
today i went to a nissan dealer to have an oil change on my G and after the fact i quietly asked the tech if he could advance the timing on my car 2 degrees. he said no because since its a nissan dealership the computers dont work with infinitis and it wont work. this is bull**** considering the local guy who does it for 50 bucks works at a nissan dealer and uses his work diagnostic tool. ****ing jits, i woudlve given the guy 20 bucks under the table too. all for 3 minutes of pressing buttons.

I know some guys at the dealer, what should I specifically ask for?

Cipher is a clone of the Consult-2.
Osiris is a program that flashes the ECU with ROM files created by UpRev.

Cipher isn't available for the '07+ sedan correct?
When asking the dealer to make the change of +2* w/ Consult-2, can I call and ask my service advisor to do this and pay the 1/2 hour (?) labor? Or is it kind of an under the table thing you go to a specific tech for?

Even though development isn't done for Osiris or Cipher on the HR motor, can the dealer tool still do it?
