And yes I checked the '08s and they're down to one pin LED just like the '08 Coupe. Same for the EX. Don't get me wrong I love our cars, it just seems odd that Nissan would choose something as small as a pin LED to be the target of cost cutting. I mean honestly, how much do they save per vehicle? Must be quite a bit if they're doing it across the board. They could have at least mounted it in the center instead of off to the right side.

Let me tell you something. No car maker can satisfy every driver/costumer. You like something I don't. ?!?!?!?! There is going to be something in every car what you don't like. You have to learn live with it or modify it to your taste. I rather wory about reliability power and how my car looks over all.

How do you know the reason to put one in was to cut the cost? There could be other reasons also. I believe if you did not know there was 2 in 2007 you would be satisfied. As you said stated how much they would save per vehicle. Maybe one does the same job.

To be honest I had to read the thread 2 times before I've got the line. hmm.. what oh ok those little lights. First I thought the main light what you can turn on and off. Because there is 2 of them from that one too. Then I realized the 2 tiny ones.

Since I was the persn that originally posted the question (at least on this forum), perhaps the "pokes" whould come my way? 
Seriously, I just think its cool they have the center console lit to begin with (none of my previous cars had this feature and it sounds cool).
Since one light or two seems like such a minor point, and the question was naswered (thanks for the picture of the 2007 lights), perhaps we can "move along folks, there isn't anything more to see here"...
