Question Center console lighting?

Nissan and their cost cutting bean counters I tell you. I know it's just "the small things" but it really irritates me sometimes. In this class "it's the small things" that make or break a sale. A prime example of what I'm talking about are the pin LEDs in the headliner of the V36 Sedan and Coupe. My '07 G has a pair of pin LEDs just forward of the moonroof that light up when the headlights are on to illuminate the center console in the dark. The G37 only has one. It looks sloppy and tacked on in the Coupe. I haven't checked the '08 Sedan's yet to see if Infiniti has lopped off one of the LEDs in the 4 door.

Saw this post on the "FX" board and while it sounds like a minor detail, it did lead me to ask the question, "Does the '08 have the LED pinlights that illuminate the center console?" Seems like a pretty neat feature if it does.

It's actually turning into a common feature. My '08 Tribeca and wife's '06 Jetta both have them. My '04 G coupe doesn't of course, but I'm in the market for the G sedan now. I hope it does have it

My 08 sedan has one I think. I don't feel slighted for not having two. One does the trick.

I'm pretty sure I have one, but not two, on my 08 sedan. My wife's 06 MDX has a couple that shine blue and looks nice. Hmmm, maybe a lighting mod is in order, although I'm not sure what color would best match the G interior and nav screen, maybe red?

I have 2 I think and love it. It is a good feature in the car.

Let me tell you something. No car maker can satisfy every driver/costumer. You like something I don't. ?!?!?!?! There is going to be something in every car what you don't like. You have to learn live with it or modify it to your taste. I rather wory about reliability power and how my car looks over all.

Sorry if that's not the answer you were looking for. It is my .02

My 08 has one. Don't really see a need for another one.

whats weird is that my 08 journey sedan has one but then we had a loaner car which was probably base model and that had a pair of the LED lights. but one is good for me.

i was just wondering why would a base have 2 and the journey have 1?

07 Sedan has 2 leds. 08 sedan has 1, doesnt matter journey, sport or base.
