Center console lighting?

i was just wondering if two lights were too bright as well. 
the one on my '08 works great. i can't tell if it's off-center - the light hitting the panel seems about right, and the view from the drivers seat, i can't tell if the light origin is centered or not. this is much ado about nothing IMO.
