Windshield Washers

So I've had my car for over a year now, and I have to ask everyone here about the sprayer for the windshield washer fluid. Mine seem like they are duds; the spray only makes it about a third the way up my windshield, not powerful AT ALL. I always forget to mention it to the dealer when I bring my car in for service.

Is this how everyone else's is?? Or should it be a lot stronger??

That's normal. I was wondering about it when I bought mine too. But over the year experience I can say it works great. I use it a lot.

yeah, basically, the fluid from the driver side helps to wet down the lower half-third of the windshield. The wiper blade on the passenger side brings fluid to the upper portion of the driver side windshield. The two combined together do a really good job of cleaning the driver side, but there isn't a "third" wiper to do the same thing for the passenger side, so the outer edge of the passenger wiper blade run usually has grime on it, but it's not a big deal.

At higher speeds, the fluid does a good job covering the windshield fully

I can't say that I have any real complaints about it, I just thought the pressure was a bit low. On the Explorer I used to have, it was like a monsoon when I washed the windshield.

+1 on the Explorer washer. Mine slowed to almost not working. At that point I pulled the washer tank out and cleaned the washer tank filter. It was gummed up with junk and now works as good as new.

Not sure if they use a filter in the G's washer tank...it does not look particularly easy to access if it did.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one with this problem. I always thought my car was just messed up. You would think Infiniti would have installed a nozzle with more pressure. Oh well. I'm lucky if that's my only complaint about the car.
