ok i went to look at the dot matrix readout instead and tells me 14.4 L/100KM at 36.76 Kmph. I am guessing thats an overall from day 1 ? someone clarify? so thats 16.6mpg.... not as bad as the 11 or 12.. i guess..but still short of the typical 20.

The center console display and instrument panel display can be individually reset. Perhaps the instrument panel display has never been reset and would be from Day 1.

My historical mpg is a bit over 20 but the everyday mileage, with more stop and go driving, is closer to 18.

I'm only aware of the gas mileage because the information is gathered for me. The car is much too much fun to worry about gas mileage.

Hmm, you are a bit lower than expected. If you have 75%+ on highway, assuming the speed is between 60mph - 90mph, you should be getting at least 23mpg. Am I correct?

I drive very aggressive, and my average 50/50 is about 20-21mpg.

I'm still in the break in period, so I've been trying to vary my rpms. So on the highway i'd slow to 65 then accelerate to 85/90/95 (depending on traffic) and repeat, this probably had a major influence on it being lower than expected.

My wife too is a leadfoot, but the bigger problem is the perma smile we have when in the car. My kids now also never want to ride in our other cars.

That's good to know. Mine comes with the AWD too, so mpg is supposed to be a little worse. Still, I hope it gets better once it's broken in.

This reserve you speak of: Could you explain?
Once I hit E, I have 3 more gallons?
Or, once the Distance to empty reads **** you have 3 more gallons?
I'd like to test out my max miles per fill and based on this info, you could get a significant amount more.

So, it's really true that our gas tank holds 20 gallons? I think the most I've put in was 17.5.. and I drove 380 miles on that tank.. So i still had 2.5 gallons left? SheeSh...
