I'm thinking about getting a 2008 G35 sedan soon and thinking about what I can do to customize the grille.

I really like the look of the black grille on the g35 vs. the chrome billet grille.

A couple questions:

1) Skyline style: I've only seen the skyline grille for the G35/G37 coupe - any one develop a similar style for the Sedan?

2) Can you 'debadge" the standard oem grille leaving just the black look?

i think billet looks horrible! without mt fuji in the fron theres a big black hole in a chrome grille, so no it wont work. it would have to be filled in and it would be super hard to match the chrome. GL with that

i'm leaning towards getting my shop to paintmatch the grill to my car (black), but i'm thinking of leaving the mt. fuji emblem chrome the way it is, what do you guys think?

what I would be interested in is a Batman version of the mt. fuji emblem...im dead serious, I'd black it out along wth the grill, stealthy and f'ing SICK. hahaha i dont think it's gonna happen though.

 

That's what I wanted to do but I didn't know the options.

I think the car would look so sick without the front emblem.
