Do you guys think Inifiniti will ever off the wood package as an option with either the sports package or the 6MT package? I don't like the washi trim. I;m sure most of you must think I'm crazy though.

^Probably never with the 6MT as the center console is totally different and it would require creating custom pieces just for the very small percentage of 6MTs sold and the tiny handful of people who actually want the wood + 6MT combo.

Sport pkg. has 4 pot Akebono brakes, tire pakage doesn't have big brakes...Originally Posted by markk132
yea, we've seen it. but heres another thing, if you notice in the packages, the "G37 Sport 6MT" and the Sport Package have split 5 spoke 18" wheels, but the Performance and Tire Package has split 7 spoke 18" wheels. that makes no sense to me. every time i visit this thread i smell more BS from this rumor
5 spoke clears the calipers 7 spokes doesn't.

For what its worth I called 2 local dealers in NORCAL and both said the g37 sedan is confirmed with 7AT and 320HP. Prices they didn't know yet but both said should be available around mid August to September.

Mike - your silence was deafening for me, glad you could finally confirm.
What do you mean by "facelift"?
Also can you confirm timing?
My lease is up in Aug, and I can extend to Oct 2 - so I may just be very happy now...

1st gen G sedan went from 03-06 with a redesign in 07.
i would say typically anywhere from 4-5 years for a total redesign.
