Buying ANY used car is a crap shoot. At least you know this one is well maintained.

A good deal is a good deal. Every car is worth something..... You have to decide if it's worth it to you.

In the long run, this car will likely cost you HALF of what a new car would. (cost of what you pay for the car minus whatever you sell it in the end).

If it drives well, looks good, has warranty..... GO FOR IT.

FWIW, most of the USED G35s on the market were rental cars.

But as others and I have mentioned, the only way to know is check the car out. Have a tech check over the car if you need to.
I don't know if you can say that you're not giving a biased opinion. I know you're trying to not give a biased opinion but your opinion is biassed because you bought a loaner car. And that automatically makes your opinion biassed...it's not a bad thing but it's true.

That's like trying to ask someone who the MVP should be for the NBA. If you're a lakers fan, you're going to say Kobe...but if you ask a fan of the game and not a fan of the team and he says Kobe, his opinion is NOT biassed because he's not a fan of the lakers OR kobe.

I'm not trying to rag on you or single you out in any way, I'm just saying that no matter what all of our opinions on this forum are biassed in a certain way because it's only human nature to protect things we believe in. The people who bought the car new will say don't do it and vice versa...

Unbiased opinion is an oxymoron.

Either way, the guy sounds like he's asking for biased opinions.

Like I said, any car is a crapshoot. Most people drive like grandma's. Most people aren't car nuts that talk on car forums. I'd definitely think the HP junkies like us are more likely to abuse the loaner vehicles.

FWIW, I felt no need to abuse the loaner I got. I already own a G35, what would be the point?
