Yeah, they are perfectly centered, so I am happy. It's pretty easy to bend the hanger pins.... I was actually able to do it by hand. Also, I was looking at the rear hanger brackets while I was under the car, and you could easily remove those and elongate the bolt holes with a drill or dremel... then you will actually be able to slide / move the rear of the muffler from side to side before tightening the hanger bolts down. This should allow you enough side-to-side movement to be able to center your tips.

Thanks, Will... Just need to get my Berk HFC's in from Andy, so I can install them... then it'll be time for a custom mid / X-pipe.

You can fix the height easily. Just lay down on the ground and pull down the one that's high, or push up on the one that's low (or both, like I did)... put pressure right where the rear hanger pin is. I was able to level mine in just a few minutes.

wow, now that's how you do a comparison! I think I hear the hiss you guys are talking about. Sounded like it started faintly as you begin to get on the gas from seconds 41-38 until the exhaust note covers it up.

Anyway, looks and sounds really good. Be interesting to hear your impressions after you get the Berks on.

Thanks, man. Can't wait to get the Berk's on and see how it sounds (and feels) after that.

Have you gotten you Berks from the GB yet? I still haven't gotten mine yet, and I set up the GB. LOL

Hey guys here is what I found out about my Tips, one was higher than the other one, I have no idea how Adrian was able to bend his hangers, they are really sturdy I guess he's one hell of a strong guy hahah. However I got my tips to basically sit at the same height now, through some adjusting and they are at the center of their respected bumper cut outs. however, when you're standing close to the car and look at it it looks like they are not centered, it's because of the Polished cans behind them. The inner part of the car is black from the reflection and so you only see the outer part which is shiny silver making is seem like one side of the muffler is blocked by the bumper, if you get down to ground level and look at them straight on they are centered.

One last thing, one of my pipes is still sitting further in than the other one. By around half a centimeter, only us mod crazy detailed obsessed people will notice it. From me fooling around under the car I'm guessing it's my stock tubing that is the problem.

Thanks guys for the help!!

I was driving around more, I have around 130 miles on the Tanabe's, I think the sound has gotten better than when i first installed them. however, I am getting a weird rattling sound or something that is tainting the exhaust note. after a lot of thinking I'm guessing it could also possibly be the Stock resonators not being able to deal with the extra flow. I guess I'll wait until Adrian gets his custom midpipe done and see how his exhausts sounds. I went to ask and For me to get a custom mid it would cost around 400 bucks, but with aluminum piping does that sound decent?

can you elaborate on this? the one reason I am holding off on purchasing this is because I am afraid of the rattles. Every one of my other cars had rattles after upgrading the exhaust.

Hmmm hard to explain, But i think i'll be in Stl over spring break for a while, I can let you listen to the exhaust, remember i have HFCs as well. Maybe I would have had my resonators replaced too not sure yet.

It's like at 3 k I get the pure sound of the exhaust, but around 4 k i get another sound that is there with the sound of the exhaust, and i'm not sure what it is? kinda like a rattle sound, can you explain what rattles you had with your old upgrades? I dont' get it when i free rev though, I think.
