The 09 Sedan Performance Wheels and Tires package comes with Dunlop Sport Maxx A1 tires. These are NOT staggered. Tires are 225/50/18 all the way around.
Small, but important distinction.
The sport package continues to come with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires, staggered.
Also, note that AWD Sport cars come with M+S tires, not the Potenza RE050A's. I'd appreciate it if someone could tell me the model; I know that the xS comes with 225/50/18.

I wouldn't know first hand because we've never ordered an xS here (being in Hawaii and all) but the literature for the '08 states that the wheels for the xS are 7.5" all around (not staggered 7.5" front/8.5" rear like the RWD Sports) and roll on V rated Dunlop (not W rated Bridgestones like the RWD Sports) tires which I would assume are the same Dunlops you see in the pictures on the '09. In other words, the optional "wheel and tire package" on '09 non-Sports is basically the '08 xS wheel package which means a downgrade for '09 buyers since you no longer run on W rated tires and the rears are no longer staggered. On '08s, the optional wheel and tire package on non-Sport Journeys consisted of staggered 7.5" front/8.5" rear wheels and ran on RE050 W rated rubber (same wheels as the RWD Sport cars).
Hope I didn't just blow your mind with all that.

I posted this back in September: https://g35driver.com/forums/g37-sed...essions-3.html but I'm glad someone finally made a thread about it. I've gotten a few PMs about this. I also noticed that for '09, the "Performance Wheel & Tire Package" is only available on RWD Journey models and is no longer an option on the G37x. The only way to get an '09 x with 18s is to get a G37xS. It's also worth noting that the W&T Package consists of the older '07-'08 Sport split 7 spoke wheel design and NOT the '09 Sport split 5 spoke design. In other words, the '09 W&T package basically consists of leftover '08 xS wheels and tires.
In all honesty, while I originally saw this as a downgrade, it makes sense. Someone who wants sporty, grippy summer tires will buy a Sport. Someone who just wants the "looks" of the 18s will have no problem with the Dunlops.
