NR>G Carbon Fiber Engine Cover -UPDATED With New Pics

Hey guys... Just picked up my new Carbon Fiber Engine Cover at Riverside Infiniti on Friday afternoon (Thanks, Rick!!!) and installed it a few hours ago. The install was pretty easy and straight forward. It is a two piece cover, so it is a little tricky to get it all lined up properly, but it seems to fit fairly well once everything is properly alined (I did add some foam tape to the back side of the cover in a few places to help with the fitment and prevent it from rattling... similar to what's on the back of the factory cover). There are also 2 extra mounting holes in the front part of the cover and I'm not quite sure what these are for, but they may be for when you use the cover on the 2007+ 350Z applications... I'm planning on getting a couple of rubber plugs to fill in the holes, so they will be less noticeable. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and finish of the cover. Here are some quick pics that I just took...

Damn.. Someone else is up as late as me tonight.. LOL

Unfortunately I think that channel in the engine cover is a little too far forward for the GT Spec bar to fit in. I think it's designed mainly for a 2007+ 350Z strut-bar, which sits slightly rearward over the engine than on our cars. I'm judging all of this by the location of the strut bar channel relative to the oil fill cap.... If you look at a G with the GT Spec front bar you will notice that it sits quite a bit farther back than the oil filler cap, but on a Z it is right next to the oil filler cap. I will know for sure next week, though, when my GT Spec strut bar cames in... I will definitely post some new pics as soon as I get it installed.
