Strange rattle/ clicking noise
Anyone else ever had a strange rattle/clicking noise from center front of car. It sounds like it could be outside of the cab but not sure. During acceleration or driving around 2500-3500 rpm. It kind of sounds like something tumbling around. I can tell if it is tranny area outside of car or in center of dash. It is not your standard rattle from a crappy dash install. If i hit the gas hard the noise does not occur. If noise is heard and gas is applied further the noise stops.

I had the same thing... tell them to check heat shield and replace the seat belt buckle (mine was the passenger seat belt buckle that made the noise). When they replaced that never had a problem since!
^^
+1 on the passenger seat belt. Try hitting it around and see if it makes the rattle you're looking for.
Off Topic: KulG35. Do you know what the dealer did to replace the seat belt? I hope they don't take out the entire passenger seat.

Please Ramsey Infiniti in NJ told me yesterday that it's normal for the G's to make cracking noises around the center console and the controller. My loaner car had them and other annoying interior noises. That car had 17K miles.
I like my Infiniti, but I don't love it. My former 02 WRX wagon made a lot less cheap interior noises. Really disappointed with the build quality of this car. Thank god I'd only paid 35K.

It's not the seatbelt for sure. This sounds like a bolt tumbling. It's loud and very specific on when it makes the noise. If I let off the gas the noise usually dies out. Throw the car out of drive and it stops as well even if still inmotion on highway. Also sounds like a bad relay sometimes. Those have been checked.

So I took my beast back to the dealer for the noise I kept hearing. It was not a rattle at all. The tech was able to duplicate the noise in park by giving the car gas. He said that there is air bubbles in the heater core. So apparently these cars get bubbles in the system and make strange noises that sound like screwed up tranny. So if anyone hears strange noises it could be this.
