This would be something that I would be very intrested in. I am sure that a lot of people here would be too.
I was looking at removing my CD changer since I never use it and installing a amp in its place for a nice clean look.

With this unit you would be able to retain the factory CD changer, even with the new sub amp.. of course, you can always remove the CD changer to make space for another external amp to replace the factory unit for the rest of the drivers.
I will definitely keep you guys posted as we move forward with this project.
Do you know who it was that did this? If so, do you have a link? I would like to check out his setup, as I am thinking about replacing everything.

I've got the studio on wheels and I'm replacing everything. For a factory installed system I'm really impressed. You can do a lot better though. It's a costly endeavor but it can be done.
