Anyone have these yet. I was wondering if these will void our warranties?

i was thinking about getting those but changed my mind and get the ram intake instead. if you get it don't forget to write a review about it here. good luck.

i remember robby talking about those air filters...i didn't think they sold em in the US, nice find man

they will only void your warranty IF and ONLY IF they can prove that the air filters caused the problem...i know it's not the clear cut yes or no you were looking for...but you know how warranties are, it all depends on the situation
Why would anyone want to get those filters? They suck!

If it's a drop in filter, probably not. The dealer still may attempt to say it voids warranty, but it's not likely that this filter will be discoverable, or that it will lead to any engine problems. Any aftermarket part could be said to void your warranty, however, legally, this more than likely isn't true.Originally Posted by Judono

they are so easy to replace. if you are worried about warranty, you can always pop in the oem before your next dealer visit.

Funny I just thought of that too. Anyhow, I don't think these are the same filters. Not only that, the notes at the bottom seem to suggest an old article. Hopefully HKS has improved upon the engineering of their filters.Originally Posted by 5u30five

They're obviously not the exact same filter--one's a drop in oem replacement while the other is an intake head. They do however use the same filtering medium, polyurethane. Polyurethane is used for low density foams, and as you can see from the review, sucks at filtering air.

it's a rather universal truth that whoever hks contracts for their air filters is pretty horrible.Originally Posted by Judono

Personally, I would get one of the synthetic fiber, dry style panel filters. Did some checking and the 2007 350Z and our cars use the same air filter # from Wix and K&N so there's good evidence that they can share air filters.

Not many manufacturers list any filters for the '07+ G35 or even the '08 350Z (
WTF) but if you look up the '07 350Z then the options increase. Check this one by Amsoil...

Disclaimer: This is all based on my own research and the assumption that the '07 350z has the VQ35HR with the dual intake so please check for yourself before buying as I haven't tested this theory yet. And let us know if you do confirm the fit...
