which TPMS will work?
I purchased a set of Rays 19's for my 08 xS sedan. I am wanting to purchase some TPMS for these but I dont know which will work and which will not. I have found several "used" sets I want to purchase. Can anyone tell me if these will work?

oh dang, I guess I should have done the research. I have to get used ones, reprogrammed?? How much does that cost and I assume only dealers can do that?
I didnt want to use my old ones because I am planning on using the Rays as spring/summer wheels only. I dont want to have to break down the sets of wheels each time I swap wheels.
What about these.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2008-...Q5fAccessories

is this based on if i reuse my current TPMS sensors or if I purchase new ones? Or both? I want to buy another set so i dont have to reprogram the TPMS and dismantle the tires from the wheels every time.

Those shown in the ebay link should be fine. My 08 actually uses the 4700 JK00A. The one in the ebay auction is the JK00B which I have heard is only an updated unit to work with the G37 and 09 stuff.
In order to install TPMS on multi piece wheels, I believe that you'll need a sensor adaptor. Many difereent styles. I don't know which is best. Here are a few samples.

Sure they will, but it depends on the internal contour of the wheel. Mine work fine on my 3 piece 20" wheels.

Most people have only one set of sensors in the set of wheels that will be on the car most of the year (usually summer tires). The rest of the time, they go without sensors on the other (winter) set and just deal with the warning light on the dash.
