I mean people that get 20's and 22's, knock offs, etc

I think it comes down to two chains of thought... those that want mods for performance, and those that want it for show.

The problem stems from the idea that usually IHE are basic performance modifications. Wheels, OTOH, aren't necessarily so.

Big heavy rims are sexy and get you laid. Expensive intakes dont do anything for girls.

How so? having a slow car will get you laid you mean?

As long as the girls aren't all that bright and you tell them you're not going to go fast/race because it's illegal, all you need is a car that looks like it'll go fast lol.

Agree... thats how Rota, ADR, and all these knock offs survive in the market.

To Rota's credit, and not just because i'm Filipino, but they do make lightweight wheels. ADR's don't.
