Would you buy a G35/37 that was a fleet car?

mine was a fleet car. according to carfax it was a rental that the dealer bought back at auction.

all i'll say is every time i look i find more stuff wrong. so far:

* gouged rims
* torn leather
* cigarrette burns on the headliner (don't ask how they managed it)
* sticking climate control buttons (easy for me to fix but annoying)
* dented sill plates
* scratched bumpers
* cuts in the a-pillar cloth
* scratched shift ****
* missing cupholder inserts

who knows what else. i didn't check thoroughly when i bought that car and although i love it i don't know if i would buy a fleet car again. just look the car over when you buy it and decide if you are getting a good enough deal for whatever you find wrong. and haggle if you think you can do better.

if you're going to be that picky, do NOT get one of these vehicles.

you get what you pay for. if you're looking for a deal, prepare to compromise.

Carfax groups fleet vehicles and leases together, it doesnt mean it was a loaner car or a company car, it most likely means it was leased. I had the same concern, but since mine was a stick, I was pretty sure it was leased and someone decided to trade it in or something. Mine was also passed through an auction before it got to the Infiniti dealership.

my carfax sheet specifically says it was a rental under "owner type" then under the details it says the my dealership bought at auction under the listing of "fleet vehicle", then it also lists it as a "commercial lease". so if you just snoop around the carfax sheet (to the OP) you'll get all the information you need to piece it together.

overall i'm happy, but like i said, next time i'll get a normal car.
