Intakes - Best of these three

Yeah the gen3 worries me about the placement. I like the R2C but something about it keeps me away... I don't see myself personally coming to a conclusion anytime soon. I think I am just going to get some K&N drop in's for the time being for myself while I get as much input from you guys over time. Good luck with the Injen's AesonVirus, hope your happy with them. I know you were jumping around at one point like I am now.

Don't have much in the mod bank either but thats not stopping me from getting my trunk spoiler . This is what maybe a week from getting my grounding kit? I mod bug has quite the bite on my behind.

I've read several reviews on the Injen SRI and even though this thread had me on the fence to cancel and look into other options again, I'm moving forward with them.
They're easy to install, filters are very accessable, the Amsoil filters are dry and have a good rep, nobody has experienced lag or loss of performance and after a hard 30 minute drive, the tubes feel cool to the touch, while the filter area is noticably cooler than the rest of the engine bay.
For $300-, I really can't pass this opportunity up.
Hopefully, I'm happy with them.
Down the road, I may end up going CAI, but for now, this is a killer deal.

Also the heat sheilds are probably the best out there as it is one piece all round protection without any voids to let hot engine air in unlike the injen SRI which has a slit on the passenger side for power steering bottle.
On the Injen SRI, on the other hand, there's also a filter element right where the OEM intake duct is that feeds air into it from in front of the grill, so it does not have to seal up as much.
But there's no arguing that each intake has their own pro's/con's and are made of rather high quality materials.
