the cardone axles from rock auto are return and rebuild for the gen 1 sedan at this point, when rebuilding the axle is there more to it then replacing the boots ? I am experiencing a vibration and I know the boots are ripped so im assuming the axles are the problem since there is a lack of grease

Ripped mine twice as well... It's common for AWD to do this.. there's a guy on here (iiiiiekoiiiii) that found some extended cv boots but he never told me where he got them from.. Is the listing of boots above^^^^ extended boots?

Gtz. Your axels are most likely bad if you have never got your boots replaced.. It's best to catch the boot ripped earliest as possible so you could just get the boot replaced to prevent the axels from going bad!! The boots are only like $40 compared to $600 for one axel plus labor! Most shops recommended the axel to be replaced but if you know any techs see if they could replace it for you on the side.....

So I found a solution for the axle boot rip. I replaced my axle so I had a new boot and I took a 3/8 hose and cut it long ways so it folded open and I glued it to the edges around the boot so it wouldn’t have a spot for the boot to rip. It’s been about 4 months now and I still haven’t had it rip yet. Before I went through 2 boots in less then a year but this is a quick fix for all lowered g35x’s. Hope this helps you guys out that are still on here
