Lowered AWD SECOND RIPPED BOOT

Lowered AWD SECOND RIPPED BOOT
So I take my car for an alignment today and after leaving the shop I realize that my wheel was slightly off centered. So I crawl under my car to check some adjustments and what do I see ?! A ripped inner cv joint boot on the passenger side for the second time. First time I replaced the boot was about 4 months ago. So I'd like to know if any lowered Awd G owners have experienced this I can't help but to blame the lowering since it makes the axle sit on an angle. I think I'm gonna pull the axle off for the second time and see if I can get an extended boot or something???
Any advice ? Please !? these small issues make me wanna get rid of the G I feel like it's the least mod friendly car I've ever owned.

Hmmm, theres alot lowerd cars, particualy on Eibach,, that have not had this prob. "yet" heck i am gonna order eibach springs as soon as my exhaust is done on wed. also they should check the steering wheel to make sure its straight, before there done!!!! and how could they not notice the boot,, ( unless they did it) as far as the half shaft angled up,, is it really that much?? for us X drivers? i am not worried about it..... imo, somethig cut yours, road debris, or your alignment guys did it... or the boot was just defective.

Front inner or outer boot?
If its a front inner boot and you go to the dealer they will only offer to replace the shaft assembly. Here the OEM part is ~$900 plus labour and tax..
When I tore mine I went to a reputable mechanic that works on Nissan's and he replaced the boot for $200, labour and tax included.

Front or rear? Check here or online for a DIY on just replacing the axle, it is usually faster than replacing the boot, and if you have been driving around with a torn boot for a while it may end up needing to be replaced anyways. I learned that the hard way with my civic, spent ~$20 replacing the boot and a lot of time cleaning and re-lubing the assembly, and then it started clicking again like a month later. Re-manufactured axles was ~$50 and was done in under a half hour.
Check your local auto parts stores for re-manufactured axles, I just checked advanced and they have a re-manufactured assembly for ~$60.

^ When I tore my front inner boot of my 07G35X (while changing the front springs) I shopped around, looking at a few alternatives. Unfortunately, even a remanufactured axle for the AWD G (2 boots/side) is a lot more than $50 and new aftermarket axles are not much less than OEM. To replace the axle (aftermarket or OEM) would have cost more than $1200 - and all for the sake of a $20 rubber boot.
botlfed98 - If you are going to attempt to replace the CV boot yourself, have a look on YouTube. There are many how-to videos for this repair.
If you have a good mechanic (who isn't lazy), they should be able to fix it for you properly and inexpensively.

This is gonna be my third time with an axle problem, the first time I was just able to replace the boot, the second time I replaced the whole axle. Now the car has a slight vibration and both inner axle boots need to be replaced. Getting an OEM axle is way to expensive and it is very difficult to find a reman. Anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do? Im thinking of just replacing the boots myself at this point.
