No sir, in Europe, the base G has no leather seats

As far as pricing is concerned thats how it works, take your plasma screen to Europe, it will cost 50% more. Thats the case across the board for electronic products and cars. I think I may have left out a few things but taxes, import duties are the main reason for this.

I've never really understood the price difference, it just seems like a lot to me.
And I agree with not minding having it, I just don't think it's something to complain over.
reasons why i prefer less luxurious stuff in my G
a) less weight
b) less problems and issues down the road
c) less rattles from loose junk
d) less price
i dont need any of the following: heated seats, passenger climate control, parking sensors, auto headlights, auto wipers or any other auto crap. however i'm stuck with it and I'd rather not have it from factory.

I never get the junk. I'd rather spend that 4 grand on mods!
Although I do really like the safety features, like sensing before you get in an
accident etc.
Stupid you have to get a premium package for that.
I have friends who have Honda civics and cars like that, with every single bell and whistle possible and they paid as much as I did for my g35!
I think that's messed up.

I get your overall point, it wouldn't seem like it'd be that hard to incorporate those features here, but it's not as if the G is behind the times (it isn't by any means).
