Questions about Tanabe Medalion Touring

I want something that gives it a nice rumble below the 40mph cruising speed and still be able to carry a conversation with the ladies...

has anyone installed this exhaust before is it as quiet as it says it is.

also does it increase power?

I have it...I don't think it provides any power increase, but the sound is definitely awesome and it looks good too. It's really quiet and you don't really hear it unless you get on it.

I have this one for 3 weeks already, and happy with it. Nice rumble, not loud at all, I think it is the quitest aftermarket axle-back I think.

I second that about the F.I. exhaust. I love mine.

I'm 99.9% sure the Tanabe axle-back will be quieter than the FI full exhaust. I have the FI and before I got it, I read all the posts of how quiet it will be, etc, but it turned out louder than I expected. No droning at highway cruising speeds and no rasp, but definitely noticeable at moderate and even light throttle, especially from a stop. I was expecting/hoping for an axle-back sound but didn't get it. Anyway, the wifey has gotten used to it so no more complaints. =) Don't get me wrong though, the sound is nice and you can feel some extra power.

My Tanabe has gotten louder with more miles, but overall it's still pretty quiet I think. I've never heard the FI in real life, so not sure how they compare.

People forgetting that overtime the things inside the exhaust burns off that's why the get kinda loud later on...
