It happened a few times two years ago and it came back recently.
I can drive the car, but the center console freezes for a few minutes and comes back.

NO Audio, No Backup Camera, No A/C, No Nav blah blah blah....

Anybody had this problem? I wonder if they will replace the HDD in which case I will lose all my songs.

I had that same issue in my 08 w/ prem & nav. They updated my nav software and never experienced this issue since.

They had to replace the AV control unit on mine after the update didn't fix it. All previous settings/data was lost but it was worth it because the new unit works so much better.

My car's still in for service. Apparently, the tech who's supposed to diagnosis my car is sick and won't be able to do it until Tuesday at the earliest. Probably will take another day or two to fix it. They gave me EX35 as a loaner, so no fusses.

Not that problem but I feel your pain on maybe losing your music. I had my system replaced because of bluetooth issues (went through 4 tmobile G1's) and lost 2 years worth of music some of which I cant remember or get the cds back. Come to find out it was a known issue since August of last year when they did an update to the phone.

Dealer says it was an issue with my CF card. They said the problem went away when they inserted a new CF card. Hmm... It's been in there for some time now and I haven't used it since. Well.. they said it's fine, then I guess it is.. Good thing is that I won't lose my songs..

They're also working on my seat heaters, so I probably won't get my car back until at least tomorrow. Until then, I can't confirm if the problem was really with the CF card or something else. I guess I'll find out soon.

Sounds like a strange solution, but at times dealers try to hid the real problem as long as its a quick fix just to make the customer feel like its their fault.

Got my car back today. The problem is gone and my CF Card is gone as well. I think they threw it away. Must be part of an evidence disposal. I wanted to talk to my consultant lady, but she went home already.

^ How can they just trash you CF without your consent?? i would be super pissed! Did they at least give you a compatible replacement CF card of the same size?

Regardless, ask for your CF, im sure it has your songs and stuff that you can load back onto your computer scan for problems and load to ur new card if needed.

That's why I wanted to see my consultant to see if she has it, but she was gone for the day. And no they didn't give me any replacement.

But it's alright. I got three more spare cards.
