Performance chips

I have a 2008 G35X sedan. I've been looking at different ways to boost output and/or fuel performance, such as performance chips. Do you have any suggestions or opinions about their effectiveness and whether they're worth trying out?

Are there other ways to improve performance and/or gas mileage (OK, other than using premium gas and trying not to floor it out of stops ... I already do that).

Thanks.

techno square does a great job with their tuning/chip for performance. for better mileage, go cheap and get K&N air filters.
most good performance tunes will not get you better mileage.

Good question. I put in the drop in K&N's 6 months ago and its hard to tell if there is a change in mileage because so much is based on how you drive the car from day to day. If there is improvement it is very slight. I can definitely feel a performance improvement though.

I have the UpRev Osiris tune, but it's not really a chip persay.. it's actually a full custom ECU tune like Technosquare. You'll need to go to an authorized UpRev dealer to get your car tuned.

^^+1 was going to say the excat same thing. It depends how much you are willing to spend on performance.

To answer your next question... Yes there is a noticable difference. On paper and driving, this also depends on the mods you have now and are planning on doing before your tune. GL friend.
