3M DiNoc CF for grille?

Do you guys think it's tacky? I'm doing it more for protection than looks. It's pseudo CF but looks like the real thing, and is much cheaper than a clear film/bra.

I considered painting it, but that wouldn't address the rock chipping issues.

Here's a sample of how it looks.

That is going to look cool. I saw a video on here about the DIY. It looked hella cool with the clear coat. Looked like a solid piece of CF. I am thinking of buying some and doing my interior.. Saw that on here too. This forum is fckn great!

POST B4 and after pics!

I put it on my chrome thingy on the trunk and didnt have enough left to do the grill. but i will be ordering more paper for my roof, grill, mirrors, interior trim. its very durable material and thick, and its hard to take off once it settle right

Thanks guys. I placed my order. If things don't work out, i'll just take it off and apply the remaining material to the peeling interior trims.

sunny, i think i saw your post on that. It looked good and got part of this idea from that post.

That's pretty cool! I'm actually thought about doing the same thing + the interior with it as well.
I've seen this CF tape at PepBoys, can't remember how much the sold it for.

I think the door handles went a bit too far, but the rest looked good.
