don't you also loose the touch screen capability?

I believe with the NAV your screen is a touch screen.

I hate fingerprints so I seldom touch mine anyway (unless I'm lonely, of course )

The touch screen is most useful for the NAV functionability, so if you don't care about NAV, losing the touchscreen probably won't be that bad.

Hi, I have recently got G35x sedan '07 model. I want to play ipod or iphone via AUX. As you guys said just the cord/cable will work as far as its just playing music from ipod to car speakers. What is this cable called?

I apologize but I am very unfamiliar with this stuff, this is my first car ans I got normal aux cable (wrong one for this car) but found no where to insert that pin.
Thanks in advance for the info!

Thanks! that looks like what i need..

one more quesiton, i came across this on google "PAC - AUXILIARY AUDIO INPUT (PAC AAI NIS2)" adapter. I believe that difference between this adapter and using only the "Apple composite cable" is that the adapter lets you read the playlist and browse around it thro' car controls directly, is that correct?
When I use the adapter, do I still need the same composite AV cable?

Is it easy to install this adapter of I need to take professional help?

Let me know anyone.

Thanks,

above is an old thread that covers the use of this adapter in a coupe, sedan setup should be similar. The thread also discusses Nissan factory ipod integration and other options.
