The 05 sedans did have the intelligent key, but it is irrelevant since the system probably did work differently in some regards.

My simple and easy solution works wonders and avoids all of these mishaps.

Nobody but me drives my car and the fob stays in my front pocket.
Plain and simple.... works wonders.
