key fob stuck in car =/

key fob stuck in car =/

didn't think it was possible.. but i left the key fob in the cup holder.. closed the lid.. then accidently forgot about them when i got out of the car.. tried opening the door but no bueno.. it's not responding

i'm at work.. what do i do?? stuck like chuck

how did you lock the door with the key fob inside the car?

locked it from the inside door lock.. force of habit =(

any other suggestions? the last thing i want to do is have a friend drive my spare all the way to me.. i'm 30 miles away from home

or you can always do the "unlock your call through your cell phone" trick

AAA expired at the end of the month (just my luck)

how do i know if i have infiniti roadside? if my warranty is still valid does that mean i have it?

it's okay.. i already told my friend to come drop my spare fob off.. i guess i owe him lunch

My cousin was in his house, I'm out in the drive way and it worked so I dunno what to say but it worked for me

I've seen this tested several times and there's no definitive yes or no.
Some models work and others do not. It must depend on the technology being used in the fob.

BMW drivers claim it works while other people claim that they have tried it and failed.

The only possible way the OP could have locked their fob in the car is if the fob battery was dead. Otherwise, not possible - closing the lid would not block the fob signal. Is it possible the key is NOT in the car? Can't you use the 2nd fob to open it?
