If I bought my 07 g35x used from a non infinity dealersip, can I still go to any infiniti dealer and get these things fixed under warranty?

Yes, as long as the car has the factory warranty remaining. Good Luck!

Sounds like Fields doesn't give any hassle. They're 2.5 hours from me but if I were desperate, I would make the drive. Thanks for posting your experience.

Wish I had known Fields would do this.
Bermans gave me a bit of hassle about replacing the door trim (they did it, but made sure to point out that they didn't have to) and they refused to replace the wheel.

In their defense, my wheel wasn't that bad at the time. It's since gotten a lot worse. I may drive out to Fields and have them do it.

Hey guys....well I haven't posted any pics yet but I thought I would share for those in the DC, MD, VA area.

JC of Bethesda gave me no hassle in replacing my st. wheel or door panels. I was treated so well there.

They definitely have earned my business. I did visit another dealer in VA (prior) and they simply gave me an attitude and basically brushed me off. Such poor customer service. I'm okay with telling me no...but be professional about it.

Again, I highly recommend JC bethesda.

I second that. Chun is my service contact and he is good. He took care of all my issues with the steering wheel, door pulls and some window chrome as well.

Hey Lockon....

Is it just me or is the steering wheel different from the original? I'm thinking the new one looks sportier (which I like).

or maybe it's just me? Maybe my mind is simply playing tricks on me....sort of like when you got new shoes when you were a kid and you thought you ran faster. LOL

The only thing I noticed different on mine was that the leather wrap was a really dark gray rather than black. But now I don't notice it anymore. It's also possible that there were some light coating on the leather that is worn off. I'm a pretty detail oriented person (sometimes to my own detriment!) and I didn't notice anything else.

But, could it be possible that they used a wheel from a different year on yours?

That's where I go and they were kinda jerks and a hassle but I got my warr work done. My low tire warning light stays on so I guess another trip to see them.

My dealership also replaced my door handle, didn't even have to ask. Took the car in for the window regulator and he told me himself that the doors aren't suppose to chip and he replaced it at no cost .
