Battery indicator is giving me low battery sign..what type of battery does it take?

Just charge the fricking battery!! I've been getting the sign since I got the car!! I put it to charge and still get the sign!

I hope you're not referring to the slot by the knee. That's only so you can still start the car if the battery is a goner. It does not charge anything.

because doesn't the low battery indicator on the dash go off when you insert the key there? I don't think it's that far fetched to think it's a charger. It's obviously not, but not that crazy of a thought.
