It was a tough week waiting to put my invidia exhaust on, arrived monday, installed today. Everything came nicely packaged with no dents or scratches on any piping. Only thing was the y pipe sections were mislabeled but that was an easy thing to figure out. Let me say that invidia did a great job with this exhaust. Nice welds, perfect fittiment. I did a lot of research on exhausts and settled on invidia because I wanted something about as loud as a G coupe so I can add HFC later if I decide to without it being overbearingly loud. For reference, my friend that helped me install my exhaust has an '05 Saleen Mustang with really aggressive cams, test pipes, and exhaust cutouts. Loudest thing I've heard, probably pushing 130 dB.

Everything nicely packed

Everything laid out

Nice rolled stainless tips

I also want to thank soundmike for painting his cans on his invidia. It convinced me to do the same. I used rustoleum high heat paint for bbq grills. I first roughened up the surface with #1 steel wool, wiped clean with mineral spirits twice followed by isopropyl alcohol twice. Then mask off the inlet and outlet pipes and hit top and bottom with 5 coats each. Took me 2 cans of paint and about 5 hours of time to make sure everything went smoothly. After that, let sit for 24 hrs before installing/heating. I love the stock look to the exhaust, looks a lot better than a shiny can sticking out below IMO.

Install was very straightforward, only thing that was tough was getting the nuts off the cats, they were rusted on pretty good. I followed Gwhipped install instructions from when he put on his, thank you (http://myg37.com/forums/g37-sedan/21...ion-guide.html). I had to be extra careful to not nick the newly painted cans. Aligning the tips was a more difficult than I thought it would be, I still need to level out the drivers side a tad. Sorry, I don't have any daylight pics yet. I installed it then went straight to wash and wax.

This thing sounds amazing. Not too loud, but nice and deep. It resonates through the cabin a little under load from 1500-2000 rpm, but not bad at all. I had no problems using handsfree, person on the other line couldn't hear it at all. The exhaust only had 40 miles on it in the videos.Normal takeoff from a stop sound awesome, reminds me of a G coupe or Z driving off. Absolutely dead silent when cruising, but comes alive when you punch it.

If anybody wants more videos or pics, just let me know and I'll do my best to do so.

Some more pics from my post wash and wax

clean car. Exhaust sounds good. Maybe do a little more aggressive driving to hear the sound a little bit.

Ya, they look pretty bad. Any suggestions on a product for them?

^ Interesting, the 10-4 is pretty douchy in my town about exhausts and that might be a good idea if i do end up with an exhaust
