Thanks Treacherous, I did find the contract, in the back of it under exemptions there is no mention of the sunroof, only soft roof for convertibles. I will definitely try to make the dealer cover it. Thanks again!

Here you go: http://admin.webmakerx.net/images/Si...20Brochure.pdf

Look all through that and see what you see. I think the sunroof is in the 73XXX section.
Vqsmile, this brochure is awesome, the one I have updated does not include the itemized list, it does specify the electrical components and the sunroof assembly. I will definitely make them take care of it under the coverage, wish me luck!

Very disappointed, I contacted Infiniti Consumer's Affairs, after almost two weeks, and me providing them with all the itemized sunroof elements that should be covered, they told me that after reviewing when the car was bought, the miles, the car history, they decided it was not going to be covered, that was it, no chance to talk to anyone above that person, they gave me a PO Box in case I get a lawyer and want to send them a letter, to the same department, how will that help me? And why would I spend more on the lawyer than what the sunroof repair costs?, but mainly, there was no logical reason from them on why they wouldn't cover it, even though they are supposed to?, I'm at a loss. Let me know if you can give me any advice. This is at the Perry Infiniti of Escondido and they told me they had never covered sunroofs to other clients.

Should I file in small claims?, I don't even have a document of denial of coverage.
Are you still within the time and mileage terms of the warranty contract, or has it expired by one of them?

This all sounds incredible. It seems like there's got to be more to this story than meets the eye.

I'm very frustrated, I will be there on Thursday for other repairs, I will talk to the manager and see if he can understand the legality of complying with their contract, at least I will ask for some kind of document that states that part is not included and then figure out legally how to make them provide what they promised.

FX35 Sunroof Stuck Open

The sunroof on my wife's FX35 stuck open and would grind as described early in this thread. Read the first page and realized this a very simple fix... Simply pop out the console lights, you will likely find 2 loose screws, one on each side of the motor. Tighten these screws, put the light back together and hold the close button down until the motor resets.

Hope this helps!
