Gen 3 Intake, UD Pullleys, Dyno Sheets
Thank you to Josh@Stillen for being an amazing resource and giving me faith in Stillen again! After making my a deal I couldn't refuse, I gave Stillen my car to install the Gen 3 Cold Air Intake and Underdrive pulley. I must take say about the intake, OMG... your car MOVES after this install!!!! The pulley didn't notice really. I gained max hp of 16 and a max torque of 10 with the intake. The pulley I gained a max hp of 3 and a max torque of 1. I would HIGHLY recommend this intake!!!! Another huge please for me over the aFe/Takenda intake is that my Ionic grille still fits! Travis, you're not worried about hydolock with the passenger side filter exposed an inch? I'm having the same issue with my Gen3. No matter which way I put the rain shield there is always the bottom inch of one of the filters exposed. I installed my Gen3s last night and of course it's raining in NJ today and i'm afraid to drive my car.....
I also have the Ionic grill and i'm sure if i had the OEM grill in most of the rain would be deflected, but since the ionic doesn't provide any type of rain deflection itself all the rain is hitting directly against the intake rain shield and i can see rain drops on the bottom inch of the filter.
EDIT: I guess i should look into the Injen Hydro-shields or the K&Ns, huh?
