Painted my Grill this weekend.....love it

It was so simple and the Plasti-Dip is so easy to use. Literally took me an hr and i put the grill back on and let it finish drying on the car.

Now i just need to black out the headlights.

how many coats did you do?

im about to do my grill this weekend but was debating to use a clearcoat after or not....

looks good.

Very nice!!! I bought a can myself, just need to rip off the grill and do it!!!

How hard is the grill to remove?

Grill is super easy to remove 5-10 min max.

I honestly coated till there was no chrome showing and then i coated again

As far as doing the FX, I already asked my wife wha she thought and I got the ol "dont touch my car"

looks really good on the red. need to do this myself. if you add a coat of clear will that make things a tad bit glossy?

I like the matte finish, at least on the red, that's a great looking combo.

The matte of the plastidip matches the lower grill color better than glossy

i think i'd prefer a glossy grille over a matte/plastidipped grill...still looks nice though
