drop done, now on to the next step

Well I just finished my drop last night with Tanabe NF210 springs.. So far so good (I hope). Not as low as I would have liked in the front, but I am hoping they will settle.. This is also my daily driver in New England. (sorry for my crappy cell pic)

I really want to get Miro 111 rims, and know I need to get them redrilled for our lug pattern.

The inspiration for me to get the Miro 111 rims has been the car shown here:
http://myg37.com/forums/picture-shar...hotoshoot.html

My concern is the offset/width on the rim above is 19x9.5 et 33.. Thats pretty aggressive and looks great on the car above.. He is dropped with a prokit though which obviously brings him a little lower.

Since my car is not as low as the one pictured, that means I may not have as much negative camber.. Does that mean I will have a harder time fitting the rim/tire combo? Does being a little higher and having a little more wheel gap make up for the lack of negative camber at all?

Sorry for the random thoughts and questions, but I am looking to make sure these rims will fit before I go through all the trouble.. I really want these wheels.

Thanks,

Chris

Thanks- While its not as low as I hoped for, the ride is comfortable and it dropped it about an inch all around from where it was previously.. I wasn't trying to slam it, just wanted to get rid of some of the gap, which it did..

+1 on the comments.....

That totally looks stock height. Definitely doesn't look like it was dropped an inch.

the tanabe nf210 drop an inch so that pic looks about right, i think he has X which is why its hard to see the drop, with proper larger wheels it should look nice.

Yeah I'm not sure why.. I am giving it a couple of days to see if it settles.. I have about 60 miles on the springs so far. I followed these instructions and used the isolator in the rear to prevent the saggy rear, which it did. https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-bra...-too-pics.html

The drop is even all around, just doesn't look very dropped. I am pissed I didn't take "before" photos, but I can tell its dropped... Just not slammed and probably dropped to the point of a G35S.. Not exactly what I wanted, but I didn't want to drop to the prokit either.

Are there any suggestions on things I can check or do, besides hacking the springs, buying H&R, Prokit or BC coils? The fact that its dropped evenly and the rear is pretty hard to screw up, I'm pretty confident the install was ok.

I just took a few pictures with a better camera. I also found 1 before picture that is kind of at a bad angle.

Here is the before:

Here are more afters:

I know it still not low enough for most, but can you really not tell its lowered still?

Yes it does your tires are fat as hell...if you do actually get those rims you are talking about your car will look sick...but with stock 17's the drop does not do any justice at this time...you should get the prokit...or maybe i am just partial to the prokit drop
