Yo yo! Newb question, but how would a Megan y pipe sound on my sedan with Tanabe axlebacks??? I found it for $165 and thats in my modding budget. I just want more noise! But not raspy.

 

go w/the M2 HR y-pipe you can get it for the same price and the merge looks better

^But is that what a second gen will sound like? When I added just a muffler to my 05, it was hella louder than my 08 with just mufflers...

 

I am not sure but when you hear a stock g35 coming from around the corner you can tell if it's a 1st Gen or 2nd Gen until you see it. after market parts you can still hear the tone but it's just at a different pitch. It's almost going to be the same sound but just slightly different.

 

there's really now way of knowing unless you find someone w/the exact same setup you are thinking of.

 

did you find out if there is anyone on the G37 forums that have it?
