That kinda depends on what your previous maintenance cycle on all of them has been. What has been done in the past and when?

I'm sorry. I should have mentioned the word aftermarket.

Well IMHO, you pretty much get what you pay for. Personally, I have not, nor know of many others who have, had good results with aftermarket lamps. Granted, I am rather particular, and I expect proper fitment and durability, but I know that not all people do; some just want a 'look' or are unaware of any distinctions between them . . . and that's fine for them. Invariably, time will tell the difference between original factory parts and aftermarket pieces though.

will aftermarket pulleys really make a difference in performance?

Mehh . . . they can make a little, but IMHO it's not enough to justify their risks.

Surely you can search as well as I can, but here's a result (from a very credible company) of a quick google search:

http://www.atiracing.com/products/da...mper_dinan.htm

All 'imperial evidence'(from those who have used them and 'got away with it') aside, unless you're racing, the potential risk isn't worth the gain.

Extra weight and possibly different gearing ratios.
