Go w/ 18s if you're keeping stock height, 20s if you lower it. You want what looks best but want to keep the stock ride, IMO you can't have both, I think 20s look perfect on a G (if it's lowered) but the low profile tires will rough up the ride. 19s are a good compromise, although tires for 19s are the most expensive

^ Nice summary right there.

BCSteel, 20s may look good, but without lowering the car, your ride will look like it's on stilts.

300zx9, ultimately it's really up to you. I've gone through 18s, 19s, 20s and are now back to aftermarket, lightweight 18s.

Ya, good point. I didn't think about that. Guess it's time to start looking at coil overs too.

hey guys, so we have a 07 rwd g35 sedan at home and a 04rwd g35 sedan, would my winter tire setup from the 04 fit on the 07, running oem wheels from the 04 wrapped in winter tires. i dont think it will but thought i'd double check. cuz if it did i would be able to store the 04 away for the winter.

thanks.

Smile 08 sedan intake

What is the best intake I can buy for my 08 sport sedan. I heard some brands need modification and replacing other parts. I just wanna a direct bolt on. I am basically doing this to get some sound from the engine and maybe some power. Thank u

Which intake?

Also, I am looking to throw in an intake. Either the K&N Typhoon 69 series or the Injen SP Series Speed Pro intake, any thoughts or alternative suggestions?

Kinda yes and a bit of no.

There was a thread in the past about a similar question. IIRC, some have experienced the car locking them out altogether, while others wouldn't lock at all with the fob inside the vehicle. You may want to try it with the spare key so you know which camp you belong to.

^^ I've never been able to do it. In fact, that's the way I eventually located my spare key when I unknowingly dropped it down under the driver seat. Couldn't lock the car to save my life; just about drove me nuts until I found it was the other key causing it.

Yes you can but you might as well keep the fob with you and just lock the car and go back to what you are doing. With that in mind you can still have the car on and be warming it up with the keys still inside your pocket or around the neck

Finally time for a new tire!!!

I just saved up to buy a tire for my G35X 2007.

I need help on choosing which brand/size to go with...

I know OE tire's are the best perhaps???

but, my car has Eibach lowing spring kit... and I want to go little wider than my stock.

Also, I will using the stock wheels as well. (17 inch one)

Can you recommend me which is the safe and widest size I can fit on my stock 17' with eibach lowering kit???

I want to get those aggressive look with relatively decent price... (not trying to spend over a grand)

Please help! Michellen right now has $70 rebate and I could definitely use some saving/coupon.

Thank you!!!!

Go with Michellen. They are pretty good for OEM.
