Just bought a 2008 G35x with 75k on the odometer, is it normal behavior for the front portion of the hood(Nearest to the windshield) to slightly bounce/flex on bumpy roads? Anyone ever fixed this problem?

If you want it a different color i would suggest vinyl wrapping.
Heres the DIY i followed for that by Blnewt

Don't want it a different color. I think the clip that holds the chrome trim is broken? The trim slants up. The trim that is above the door handle on the front passenger door.

Hey people, I am currently on my second V36 sedan and just noticed somethingweird.... I drive the car til the fuel range says 10miles or less. But can only fill up 17 galons. According to all the spec web sites I have checked out, our tanks are suppose to hold 20 gallons??
Anyone else have this going on?? and It seems Im only able to get 300 miles out of a full tank, which was not the case on my first one.
Current mods- Top Speed exhaust and Weapon-R intakes and grounded.

I notice this as well, the last time I filled up i was at 40 miles remaining(Should have been able to put 18 gallons roughly into the tank), I was only able to put 16 gallons in. For reference I drive a 2008 G35x w/ 76k on the odometer. I'm beginning to believe that this is normal.

My current one is a 2008 G35S Sedan. What is your average MPG??
I drive 65% on the freeway on cruise control and 35% in the city at stop and go situations and my average is usually 17.8mpg..
My first v36 sedan, a 2007 G35S sedan averaged at 18.9mpg.
I Moved my exhaust, intake and all other parts off of that one and onto this one.

The engine looks clean, no oil leakage. Just that annoying issue with the Fan on full blast for no reason.

Can't believe this is still being questioned; it's been beaten to death many, many times. The fuel gauge system in the car is deliberately set up with a reserve of about 2.5 gallons so that you don't run out.

Sure, they used to come up until I turned the reminders off.

Are you sure this is just the Maintenance indicator though? What type maintenance did it trigger for (engine oil, oil filter, tires, other) ?? Since you mention belts, it made me wonder. I just want to be sure you aren't seeing a "Service Engine Soon" indicator light.

Of course this is all covered very clearly in the . . .

wait for it . . .

OWNERS MANUAL !!

(On or around Chapter 2, pages 19-20 and 25-29)

No, its not the service engine soon light. Its coming up on the screen inbetween the speedometers, where the mpg, temperature etc comes up. It just says maintenance needed soon. Is this something i need to worry about? Is it possible to turn this reminder off?

Quit being lazy.
It's all covered in the manual. If you don't have one, it's time you got one. You can download it (for free) by simply registering here : http://x.infinitihelp.com/forum/loca...6#.UqzWPrQXHDw

I even told you page number!
