Is there a way to default the auto dim mirror to off every time I start the car?

turn the power off by pressing the power button on the rear view mirror.

Light on = on

^ The OP wants it to be off, by default, when ever they start the car.

@ stockae92 - Sorry, but I don't think there is any easy way to do this.
Why don't you like having it on?

i have clost to limo tint in the back, its dark enough that sometimes i wish its easier to see out in the back. to be honest, i don't even know if turning the auto dimming would let me see out the back easier

its a good idea, i have 5% in back so i will try this too if theres a way to default it off

Technically if he power off the dim mirror every time he starts the car, it will be off every time he starts the car.

Just depend on how you read the question I guess. I guess we just see things differently.
