Dash cams are in use in just about every vehicle in Europe by now. I figured it would begin to catch on in the US sooner or later. I guess later is now. LOL YouTube is full of clips of such nature. My brother just got a DOD unit for his car and the thing will record 4 hours of 1080p HD video onto a 16Gb MicroSD card.
I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up with one in the near future.
