Has anyone gone from a Lexus/Bmw or Benz to the Infiniti?

^yep, OP is definitely a troll
either that or his parents bought the car and paid for his mods
seriously, if you had put the amount of blood, sweat, and money that most of us had into our infiniti then you would realize that owning a car like this isn't just a luxury thing for us, its part of how we define ourselves
and no, i didn't have a shitty car before an infiniti, the 06g35 coupe was my first car and always will be the car i favor the most

Each member of my family owns a benz, my mother has CLS550, sister with the new C350 coupe, my father with G class (dunno which since he lives in Japan), and I own E350 and G35 for fun.
I must say that Gs aren't finished with the most quality interior with "luxury" written all over it, and I guess some pple may point out that it's an altima with double the price tag, but I like it for the power and performance, not to mention the quality ride, with easy access to basic to full spec mods.
So yea, if you're unsatisfied with your G and think its an over-gloried Altima, then simply buy an altima with the appropriate price tag lol

I had an IS350 Lexus before I got the G, and honestly I must say the fit and finish of minor things are subpar IMO. The Lexus has a touch access door entry rather than pushing a button every time. I feel like the Nav screen trim is cheap and flexible, just some other things that really show me that Nissan didn't put the time and effort to make this a truly Luxury automobile. I also have an M3 Coupe as weekend car, and well, I don't need to say anything more. The keyfob is so cheap looking and they use the same one's for Nissan's? The headliner is an exact replica of the one in my friends Altima...There should be an element of exclusivity there if you're paying twice the price of an Altima for this car. Infiniti needs to step their game up because as it is, I don't see them ever surpassing Lexus in terms of quality..yet they charge the same prices..but Lexus holds their value much more.
This is my last Infiniti.
This is my last Infiniti.
1st of all, I would think if you were interested in actual driving dynamics, since you do drive an M3- you would understand the difference between the IS350 and the G.
2nd- You dont need to say anything more about the fact that a car which costs twice as much is better?
3rd- You dont know jack about exclusivity. You drive a mass produced BMW based off a 3 series. Not exactly "exclusive" considering half the population cant tell the difference between an M3 and a 328.
How many of the interior parts in your M are the same in the 328? I bet you even have the same key fob.
You own a mass produced car which any dumba** with a check book can go find at any dealer on any given day. Nothing exclusive about that.
Exclusive = my signature- less then 1500 built- probably less then 1000 around today.
Ferrari is also exclusive. You cant just go buy a new Ferrari - unless you have previously owned one.

I mean sure, the Merc was really smooth and quiet down the road, had heated and cooled seats and cost an arm, leg AND your d!ck to get the thing repaired, which was quite often. My G on the other hand (which is still have because I can work on the G myself), runs great, gets better gas mileage than the fuel sucking behemoth that was the Mercedes, and its more fun to drive.
In the end, sold the Merc, kept the G, never looked back. Luxury in a car is something that doesn't come first for me, it needs to be fun to drive and reliable first and foremost and then I can worry about fit and finish.
Moral of the story, theres a lot of members here that have nice(r?) cars but we dont act like azzholes about it, because to be honest, no one cares about your cars, or even you for that matter because its the internet and no one cares. And also, you could be a lying troll, so we have no reason to believe you. So be nice and we'll act accordingly.
