Probably, but he's driving in Louisiana which, if it's anything like most Southern states (like where i'm at -- Texas), it'll only take 100 miles before that front-end is covered in bug guts.

And 100 miles is a drop in the bucket for road trips down here. Unless the OP will clean the front end every 100 miles to prevent all that gut acidity from combining with Southern heat and etching the paint, this is a pretty decent way to go about it.

Soo True! I wish I would've taken a pic when we arrived but it was too dark. I had 2 dragon flies, a moth, and about 100+Mosquitos. I am glad I used painters tape cause after removal there was no residue and I was done in about 5 minutes. I will be giving her a good wash this weekend. Thanks to all for the comments and opinions. I wrapped the front end cause "what's having a beautiful car and not enjoy it?"

Id rather do this then have a clear bra on my car. My clear bra is hideous and I hate it. Once I have it removed I will definitely be doing this every time I travel long distance.

i get it but think it's pointless. it's going to happen regardless of a 100 mile trip or a 5 mile trip. only time i would ever be okay with this is if the car is being showcased
