^ Not always. I had a Maxima and Murano, both 3.5 DE's, which i swapped plugs on at 110k miles, they didn't look that bad at all.

Every 20k for spark plugs? Way to excessive. You using copper plugs or something?

No but I'm making 570whp. But the whole change them every 25k miles bit is direct from the guys down at uprev, and I'm pretty sure they know what they're talking about when it comes to VQ's

If you have some mechanical knowledge I think you'll be able to do some, if not all, of the items yourself.

Ok well that's different. But not required for the normal VQ.

plugs at 20k? I have never had to replace my plugs and I have 64k on the car!

Oh, quite the nice little bit of incidental info there .

THAT has more to do with your experience than whether it's a DE or an HR motor.

I spent 80 dollars for fluids and filter from advance for the 60k tuneup.

All Mobil 1 including filter and all synthetic of course.
