I've literally seen this in person, pretty cool although it is illegal if you were to get caught giving it to birds. Then again, what are the odds of that. If you have a bird bath around throw some in there lol. Damn birds...

Leave the birds alone. They were there before you and will be after you. Just deal with the poop and clean it when you can. Speaking from experience. I get the same, and no way I'm going to try killing birds for my selffish reason of keeping my car clean; And I'm just as **** about my car as the next guy. It's still just a car at the end of the day. Doesn't justify killing off birds.

Well, if your asaian like me, you can always eat the bird once you kill it. My wife and I talk about grabbing some ducks from the park for dinner. Free food that you dont have to buy. Lol
