Any idea if the new iphone 5 will work with our cars?

Going to be 3 weeks for delivery, we'll let you know. Purchase price was $265, anyone get a better deal than that?

Charge/sync port on the iphone 5 looks to be different then any of the other generations, so Id say plug n play is not going to be possible with out some kind of adapter.

Infiniti iPod adapter > scosche passport > 30 pin to new dock adapter from apple

I'm just guessing but you need the scosche passport or similar to charge newer ipods and will definitely need the 30 pin to new dock connector cause of the new port. If only our cars had the Bluetooth streaming or usb port like on the 2010+

If only my 07 V36 even had iPod hook up......

Yup, exactly my thoughts.. I'm getting my on the 21st.. but the 30 pit to lightning adapter won't be available until October.. So I guess no music in the car for a bit...

Im a big apple fan and might end up upgrading to iphone 5 but am disappointed in the lack of new features comapred to my 'old' 4S, basically seems like a faster A6 processor and 1/2" larger screen... i liked the S3 when it came out which has great performance and android seems nice so i was thinking about it but its just a tad bigger than id like so waited for the iphone5 thinking it would blow the S3 away... but now im kinda of confused on which one to get

Other than that i saw a $29 adaptor from apple to allow you to use the old 30pinn connector and hope and think it will work with the old ipod interfaces

Im undecided as well. Dont take me wrong the iphone 5 is a nice phone. But I kinda like the features of the Galaxy S3. I might which over to the S3 til and try it out. Im always open to new things. Im just kinda getting tired of the apple interface and having to set up everything through itunes.

I paid $235 with tax on the white 16gb. Arriving on the 21st.
