I honestly don't care what oil anyone uses. I don't even care that you're bashing Mobil 1. I'm just here to make sure no idiots get fed the wrong information and interpret data wrong that's not even the same engine. I'm here to reassure everyone that synthetic oil is synthetic oil, and any oil is fine as long as you change it at regular OCI. You can keep preaching how more awesome your oil is but I'm just sticking with what works and I get for a cheap price. Good luck with that failing part in your engine.

Again, I've used dino oil in some of my cars before and they have lasted well over 250k miles with no problems. My current 2007 G has 75k miles and is still running amazing with Mobil 1/ Mobil 1 EP and some dino oil previously. No oil consumption, no leaks, engine still runs like new.

Because i can, and because i want to. By knowing exactly how long i can extend changes is worth it to me to get the tests done. Plus i know exactly what's going on with the engine.

Also, since the sheet they provide can't really provide much more information (many of the #'s shown are easily found on the web as to what they mean) i sometimes contact Blackstone directly and they're always there to provide more knowledge.

For most people, this isn't necessary and changing oil every 3k miles with any oil is more than good enough. Even both my old DE's, which were both oil burners, couldn't burn oil fast enough in 3k miles. Extremely extended intervals, yes i see oil burning on those cars regardless of which oil i used at any given time.

What's funny is that even if you look at Pennzoil's website, they say that

Pennzoil Ultra is 25% cleaner than Mobil 1, 35% cleaner than Valvoline SynPower, and 40% cleaner than Castrol Edge wit Syntec.

http://pennzoil.com/motor-oil/pennzo...synthetic-oil/

I mean all these companies bash each other, just like saywat? was doing to everyone else who was using a specific brand of oil. What he doesn't realize is that there is absolutely not much of a significant difference between all of their oils.

Does that mean I should do what saywat? did and start saying OMG Castrol Syntec is at least 40% dirtier than Pennzoil Ultra? Don't use Castrol Edge because your engine will get get sludge at least 40% quicker! I don't know when that will happen but it will happen eventually!

You didn't explicitly state it but you certainly implied it. You were constantly bashing Mobil 1 and were even trying to make it into a laughing matter to put Mobil 1 users down.

It's fine to say I don't like Infiniti. I have no problem with that. But with your air of sarcasm and frankly, very rude and condescending remarks to others who use a specific brand of oil it certainly says otherwise.

You can't teach an old dog new tricks. Good luck. I never said your posts were extremely offensive, just that they were rude and condescending. It appears you're the one who was over exaggerating. Your sarcasm isn't appreciated here. Soundmike gave contradicting evidence to your precious chart. I guess you have no comments for that. I'm done with talking to you about this.
